Persistent identifiers (DOI) for your research data

Datasets reported via DP-R|EX are provided with a persistent identifier (DOI) upon publication. Such DOIs are one of several technical solutions for permanently referencing physical or digital objects (including data, documents, publications or other objects) and linking metadata to this object in a stable manner. The DOI refers to the respective object or a corresponding online description (so-called landing page) at a data centre, i.e. the persistent identifier is permanently linked to the object and not to the specific storage location. In this way, we ensure that your research data is permanently citable and accessible.
